			<link>http://betis.sisarina.net/press-releases/betis-group-inc-wins-faa-efast-contract</link>
			<description>
	Arlington, VA. USA, Oct. 6, 2009 - Betis Group has been awarded a seven year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the Federal Aviation Administration&amp;rsquo;s eFAST (electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks) program. Issued as a Master Ordering Agreement (MOA), eFAST is FAA&amp;rsquo;s preferred acquisition vehicle for small business solutions.

	&amp;ldquo;This award is a testament to the outstanding service Betis Group has provided to the FAA for the past eight years, and offers us the opportunity to strengthen that relationship and continue to serve the FAA for many years to come,&amp;quot; said Hernan Cortes, President &amp;amp; CEO of Betis Group.

	The contract is significant for its scope and breadth. The period of performance is for five years initially, and two additional years may be added at the option of the parties. It covers 112 labor categories in four functional areas in information technology within the FAA. Betis Group, as a prime contractor, may team with other prime contract awardees and add subcontractors under the agreement. eFAST makes a real contribution in flexibility to the process of acquiring services to address technology needs.

	David Stauffer, Betis Group manager of FAA programs, observed, &amp;ldquo;The FAA&amp;rsquo;s mission is to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world, and FAA works continuously to improve the safety and efficiency of flight. A secure, reliable communication system is an important contributor to this great endeavor. For more than eight years Betis has supported the FAA&amp;rsquo;s mission critical NexGen Messaging System. Our eFAST award will allow us to continue to serve the FAA while greatly expanding the services we are able to provide.&amp;rdquo;

			<title>Catching the Green Wave</title>
			<link>http://betis.sisarina.net/press-releases/catching-the-green-wave</link>
			<description>
	Arlington, VA. USA, Aug. 1, 2009 - Betis Group is catching a ride on the green wave and starting up a new virtualization practice as part of our corporate strategy. The wave has been building for the past several years and recent legislation as well as&amp;nbsp;the challenges being faced in the economy, are forcing organizations to look for ways to cut costs while saving the environment. Virtualization is just the solution to meet these cost saving needs while saving the environment at the same time.

	Brandon Sweeney, Vice President of the Americas Partner organization of VMWare predicts that, &amp;ldquo;many companies are aggressively planning to adopt virtualization in 2009.&amp;ldquo; 34% of servers will to be virtualized within next 12 months, double the15% virtualized today 45% of companies are expected to virtualize over 30% of their servers, up from 7% today We will begin by focusing on Server Consolidation and Desktop Virtualization.

	We are currently engaged with the FAA to consolidate the NexGen program from 12 sites down to four and reduce the physical count of servers through virtualization on VMWare Infrastructure. We are also in discussions with the Air Force to establish a desktop virtualization pilot utilizing Citrix Xen Desktop.
